HCDP SUPPORTS SELF-SUSTAINING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS TO PROMOTE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING IN THE ARTIBONITE VALLEY, HAITI. WE BELIEVE THAT PARTNERSHIP GROUNDED IN TRUST IS THE KEY FOR SUSTAINING LONG TERM DEVELOPMENT. THROUGH AN EFFECTIVE PARTNERSHIP, OUR GOAL IS TO EMPOWER THE PEOPLE OF HAITI NOT SIMPLY TO HAVE MORE, BUT TO BE MORE, SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST AS THEY GO.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DEMONSTRATION FARM - MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS TO ACREAGE IN BOIS MARCHAND, HAITI, WHICH IS USED FOR DEMONSTRATION OF APPROPRIATE FARMING AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY TECHNIQUES FOR CITIZENS FROM ACROSS HAITI. THE FARM IS ALSO THE HOME FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF AN ANIMAL GIFTING PROGRAM.


EDUCATION-VOCATIONAL TRAINING IS PROVIDED IN SEWING, TAILORING, A BAKERY, AND SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. ANOTHER INITIATIVE PROVIDES HELP FOR LOCAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS.


RELIEF- HUMANITARIAN AND FOOD INSECURITY RELIEF IN RESPONSE TO FAMINE, NATURAL DISASTERS SUCH AS EARTHQUAKES, HURRICANES, FLOODS AND DROUGHTS, PANDEMICS SUCH AS CHOLERA AND COVID-19, CIVIL UNREST, AND TRADE DISRUPTIONS.
