THE LAW CENTER PROVIDES TARGETED LEGAL AND SOCIAL WORK SERVICES TO INCREASE INCOME AND FINANCIAL STABILITY SO THAT HOMELESS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS CAN ESCAPE HOMELESSNESS. OUR ATTORNEYS ALSO DEFEND EVICTIONS TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS. THE CENTER ASSISTS WITH RAPID REHOUSING. LEGAL SERVICES INCLUDE OBTAINING/MODIFYING/ENFORCING CHILD SUPPORT, REDUCING DEBT, LITIGATING WAGE CLAIMS, AND SECURING OTHER BENEFITS SUCH AS UNEMPLOYMENT. SOCIAL WORK SERVICES INCLUDE CONNECTING CLIENTS TO MAINSTREAM BENEFITS, CHILDCARE, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, IDENTIFICATION, AND MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES.
