THE DECATUR ARTS ALLIANCE'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE ARTS AND ARTS EDUCATION IN DECATUR, GA.

DECATUR ARTS ALLLIANCE ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION PRIMARILY THROUGH THE PRODUCTION OF THREE FESTIVALS ANNUALLY. THE DECATUR ARTS FESTIVAL IS THE LARGEST OF THE FESTIVALS AND IT IS HELD EACH YEAR. THE DECATUR ARTS FESTIVAL IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE FESTIVAL RENTS BOOTH SPACE TO OVER 165 ARTISTS DURING THE TWO DAY ARTISTS MARKET, SPONSORS AN ARTIST JURIED COMPETITION AND A SILENT AUCTION. ADDITIONAL REVENUE IS RAISED THROUGH SOUVENIR AND BEVERAGE SALES PROGRAM ADVERTISING. THE ARTS FESTIVAL IS HELD ANNUALLY IN THE FALL OF EACH YEAR AND IS THE ATLANTA METRO AREA'S LARGEST OUTDOOR WINE FESTIVAL. REVENUE IS EARNED THROUGH TICKET SALES, AND GUESTS ARE TREATED TO A LARGE SAMPLING OF WINE AND FOOD.
