THE ACR PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS THROUGH SEVERALVENUES. ITS ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING, HELD EACH FALL, IS DEVOTED TORHEUMATOLOGY THROUGH PROGRAMS OF EDUCATION, RESEARCH, ADVOCACY ANDPRACTICE SUPPORT THAT FOSTER EXCELLENCE IN THE CARE OF PEOPLE WITH ORTHE RHEUMATIC DISEASES. THIS MEETING DRAWS THOUSANDS OF RHEUMATOLOGISTSAND ARTHRITIS HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. A WINTERRHEUMATOLOGY SYMPOSIUM, SPRING CLINICAL MEETINGS, AND OTHER TOPICALCONFERENCES ROUND OUT THE ACR'S EDUCATION OFFERINGS. THE ACR HAS TWOSCIENTIFIC JOURNALS: "ARTHRITIS & RHEUMATOLOGY", RESEARCH IN THERHEUMATIC DISEASES, AND "ARTHRITIS CARE & RESEARCH", WHICH FOCUSES ONTHE HEALTH SERVICES AND CLINICAL ASPECTS OF RHEUMATOLOGY. THE ACRSUPPORTS THE RHEUMATOLOGY RESEARCH FOUNDATION, A RELATED ENTITY. THISFOUNDATION INVESTS OVER $10 MILLION ANNUALLY IN RHEUMATOLOGY RESEARCHAND TRAINING.
