TO PROMOTE THE EFFECTIVE FISCAL ADMINISTRATION OF HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS THROUGH PARTICIPATION OF ITS MEMBERS IN FISCAL POLICY AND PROCEDURE PLANNING. TO PROVIDE HUMAN SERVICES FISCAL STAFF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN SUBJECT MATTER UNIQUE TO ADMINISTRATION OF FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL PROGRAMS.

ANNUAL TRAINING CONFERENCE AND ASSOCIATED PLANNING MEETINGS. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS AN ANNUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE FOR ITS MEMBERS. ATTENDING ARE FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS EMPLOYED BY FEDERAL, STATE, AND COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCIES FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY. DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO PUBLIC SAFETY AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS.
SUBJECT SPECIFIC TRAINING. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND SEVERAL MULTIPLE DAY TRAINING SESSIONS DURING THE YEAR AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY.
