THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH, PROGRESS AND GENERAL WELFARE OF WINTHROP UNIVERSITY. THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ALSO FOSTERS A CONTINUING ATTACHMENT TO THE UNIVERSITY AMONG FORMER STUDENTS AND DEVELOPS INTEREST FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS IN ATTENDING THE UNIVERSITY.
