THE MISSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PAPILLOMAVIRUS SOCIETY IS TO FACILITATE RESEARCH ON HUMAN AND ANIMAL PAPILLOMAVIRUSES AND THEIR ASSOCIATED DISEASES AND TO PROMOTE THE TRANSLATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS INTO NEW CLINICAL APPLICATIONS AND PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES.

HPV DAY CAMPAIGN PROJECT, WHICH SET OUT TO CREATE GREATER GLOBAL AWARENESS OF HPVS, THE DIVERSITY OF COMMUNITIES AFFECTED AND HOW EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING TO REDUCE RISKS OF ASSOCIATED DISEASE. ONLINE ENGAGEMENT WAS ACHIEVED IN EVERY TARGET COUNTRY AND PRESS RELEASE WAS PICKED UP BY 250 OUTLETS WITH MEDIA COVERAGE IN TOP TIER MEDIA AROUND THE WORLD.


THE INTERNATIONAL PAPILLOMAVIRUS SOCIETY PROVIDES THE PRIMARY OVERSIGHT FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCES AND COORDINATION OF FUND RAISING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT LISTS FOR THESE MEETINGS.
