THE MISSION OF THE NEWBERRY OPERA HOUSE IS TO ENHANCE THE CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF NEWBERRY AND THE MIDLANDS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE ARTS IN CONCERT WITH ARTS FOR ALL.

THE NEWBERRY OPERA HOUSE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER IS A 400 SEAT VICTORIAN AUDITORIUM WITHIN THE HISTORIC, RENOVATED OPERA HOUSE BUILDING. ON AVERAGE, THE OPERA HOUSE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER PRESENTS APPROXIMATELY 150 PERFORMANCES ANNUALLY. THE PRIMARY ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE FOUNDATION ARE MEASURED EACH YEAR BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S CONTINUED INTEREST AND ATTENDANCE OF SCHEDULED ARTIST'S PERFORMANCES AND CULTURAL EVENTS CONDUCTED AT THE HISTORIC OPERA HOUSE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
