TO PRODUCE AND PRESENT QUALITY COMMUNITY THEATER TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL AND LITERARY PERFORMING ARTS PROJECTS FOR ALL SEGMENTS OF THE TRI-COUNTY POPULATION, AND TO PROVIDE A VENUE FOR THESPIANS, ARTISTS, TECHNICIANS AND OTHER CREATIVE PEOPLE TO PRACTICE.

DURING THE PAST YEAR, THE FLOWERTOWN PLAYERS OFFERED SIX PRODUCTIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS TWO PRODUCTIONS ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN, THE UNDERGROUND PRODUCED FIVE PRODUCTIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS FOR ADULTS 20-30 YEARS OF AGE.
THE FLOWERTOWN PLAYERS CONTINUED GROWTH WITHIN THE THEATER BY CREATING A SUBGROUP FOR THE 20-SOMETHING CROWD TO PARTICIPATE AS A WORKING BOARD PRODUCING PLAYS, WORKSHOPS, AND LATE NIGHT CABARETS WHERE EVERYONE WHO AUDITIONS PERFORMS. THE FLOWERTOWN PLAYERS ALSO PROVIDED A VENUE FOR THE NEW IMPROVISATIONAL GROUP AND INCREASED THE NUMBER OF CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE FOR ALL AGES.
