TO BRING BLACK-ELECTED OFFICIALS, IMPORTANT PARTNERS AND THOSE INTERESTED IN PUBLIC POLICY TOGETHER FROM ACROSS THE STATE TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONFERENCE FOCUSED ON SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY INITIATIVES THAT IMPROVES THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY.

WORKING WITH STATE AND LOCAL PARTNERS, THE NORTH CAROLINA BLACK ALLIANCE DEMOCRACY MISSION IS TO ENGAGE BLACK LEADERS AND THEIR ALLIES TO SUPPORT FULL EXPANSION OF VOTING PROCEDURES WITH RESOURCES AND INVESTMENT FROM NATIONAL ENTITIES WORKING TO ENSURE EVERY RESIDENT HAS THE RIGHT TO SAFELY CAST THEIR VOTE. JUST AS CRITICAL TO OUR VOTER ENGAGEMENT TURNOUT WORK WILL BE THE CONTINUATION OF OUR VOTER SAFELY AND PROTECTION CAMPAIGN.


AS A BRIDGE-BUILDER AND TRUSTED MESSENGER, NORTH CAROLINA BLACK ALLIANCE COLLABORATES WITH KEY COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND OUR MEMBERS TO BUILD POWER THROUGH OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE JUSTICE WORK.
