WECAHN SUPPORTS AND DEVELOPS STRATEGIES THAT WILL REDUCE THE BEHAVIORS THAT PUT PERSONS AT RISK FOR HIV, AIDS, AND OTHER SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROMOTES THE SUPPORT AND CARE OF CHATHAM RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY HIV AND OTHER SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES. THESE PROGRAMS OF EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ARE OFFERED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL AS PROGRAMS TARGETED TO LATINOS AND AFRICAN AMERICANS, TWO POPULATIONS DISPROPORTIONATELY AFFECTED BY THESE DISEASES.
