LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE WAS ESTABLISHED TO BUILD LEADERSHIP CAPACITY AND PROMOTE REGIONALISM ACROSS THE SEPARATE COMMUNITIES OF THE TRIANGLE. IT DOES THIS THROUGH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLASSES, SOCIAL NETWORKING, PUBLIC FORUMS, AND AN ANNUAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT AND AWARD CELEBRATION.

EMERGING LEADERS - LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE HAS PARTNERED WITH CAPITOL BROADCASTING COMPANY (CBC) TO LAUNCH THE EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM. OVER THE FALL SEMESTER, PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS COMPLETE A 400 HOUR PAID PROGRAM. 350 HOURS ARE SPENT IN AN INTERNSHIP WITHIN A CBC DIVISION AND 50 HOURS ARE SPENT IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS WITH LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE. STUDENTS ARE RECRUITED FROM NCCU AND SHAW UNIVERSITY AND THE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO RISING JUNIORS AND SENIORS.
TRANSFORMING LEADERS CLASS - TRANSFORMING LEADERS IS A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE IN PERSONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY COMBINING CORE CURRICULUM, 360 FEEDBACK RESULTS, AND ONE-ON-ONE COACHING WITH AN INTENTIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY. EACH GRADUATE GAINS A NEW NETWORK OF REGIONAL LEADERS AND A SENSE OF THEIR OWN PLACE IN THE EVER-CHANGING TRIANGLE. LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE FACILITATES TWO COHORTS OF THE TRANSFORMING LEADERS PROGRAM EACH FISCAL YEAR.
ALUMNI/FELLOWS - LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE SUPPORTS A FELLOWSHIP COMMUNITY OF 1,200+ GOODMON FELLOWS. GOODMON FELLOWS ARE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE GRADUATED FROM OUR COHORT-BASED PROGRAMS. THROUGH OUR FELLOW PROGRAMMING, LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE MAKES DIRECT INVESTMENTS INTO SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP OF OUR FELLOWS. LEADERSHIP TRIANGLE HAS SUPPORTED VOLUNTEER EVENTS, NETWORKING GATHERINGS, CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, AND A FELLOWS-ONLY JOB BOARD.
