NC PRE-K IS USED TO ACCOUNT FOR DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NC PRE-K PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK FOUR YEAR OLDS WHO ARE AT-RISK OF FAILURE IN KINDERGARTEN. THE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY PRE-KINDERGARTEN SERVICES IN ORDER TO ENHANCE KINDERGARTEN READINESS.
CHILD CARE EDUCATION AND QUALITY IS USED TO ACCOUNT FOR SERVICES ACTIVITIES INCLUDING CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL, PROVIDER TRAINING, LEARNING MATERIALS AND TEACHING AIDS.
FAMILY SUPPORT IS USED TO ACCOUNT FOR SERVICES ACTIVITIES FOR ONGOING PARENTING EDUCATION AND LITERACY.
