- CONTINUED TO ENHANCE THE HEALTHY HEALER PROGRAM WITH NEW RESOURCES AND ADDITIONAL THERAPISTS. - PUBLISHED WCMS' STATEMENT ON RACISM AS A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS. -WCMS ENGAGED WITH BLACK COLLEAGUES AROUND THE VAST IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED IN RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION OF BLACK HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS IN WNC -HELD A TWO-PART SERIES ON HEALTH INEQUITIES IN WNC AND THE PRACTICE OF CULTURAL HUMILITY. - VIRTUALLY HELD A FEW AFFINITY GROUPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, SUCH AS LIFESTYLE MEDICINE ADVANCEMENT GROUP AND BLACK PROVIDERS. - WCMS AND BOARD MEMBERS ATTENDED A VIRTUAL WHITE COAT WEDNESDAY. TOPICS DISCUSSED INCLUDED PAY PARITY FOR TELEHEALTH, EPOS (EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER ORGANIZATION), AND THE MEDICAID RATE INCREASE OF 5%.
