THRESHOLD HELPS ADULTS IN DURHAM COUNTY, NC WITH SEVERE MENTAL ILLNESS STAY OUT OF THE HOSPITAL, SUCCEED AT WORK, ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION, AND REACH THEIR GOALS. ESTABLISHED IN 1985, THRESHOLD FOLLOWS THE FOUNTAIN HOUSE CLUBHOUSE MODEL, AND IS CERTIFIED BY CLUBHOUSE INTERNATIONAL AND CARF. THRESHOLD PROVIDES A FULL SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDING PRE-VOCATIONAL TRAINING, SUPPORTED WORK OPPORTUNITIES (PART-TIME FULLY COMPENSATED EMPLOYMENT), LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. WHILE ATTENDING THRESHOLD, FEWER THAN 10% OF OUR MEMBERS REPORT BEING HOSPITALIZED FOR MENTAL HEALTH REASONS. DURING FISCAL YEAR 20-21: THRESHOLD'S CUMULATIVE WEEKLY PARTICIPATION FOR REMOTE AND ONSITE SERVICES WAS SERVICES WAS 65 MEMBERS, THRESHOLD PROVIDED MORE THAN 5,000 SUBSIDIZED MEALS DUE TO CLOSURE OF ONSITE SERVICES UNTIL OCTOBER. THRESHOLD PROVIDED MORE THAN $100,000 IN UNREIMBURSED SERVICES. DUE TO CORONAVIRUS, THRESHOLD REMAINED CLOSED FOR ONSITE PROGRAMMING WITH ONLY MEAL SERVICE BEGINNING IN OCTOBER 2020. PROGRAMMING CONTINUED ON ONLINE PLATFORMS, AND/OR DIRECT CONTACT WITH MEMBERS BY PHONE OR IN-PERSON UNTIL APRIL 2021 WHEN WE PARTIALLY REOPENED FOR ONSITE PROGRAMMING. THRESHOLD SUPPORTED AND MANAGED THE DISTRIBUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGY TO MEMBERS SO THAT THEY COULD JOIN ONLINE PROGRAMMING AND RECEIVE CONTACTS FROM PSR STAFF. THRESHOLD CONTINUES TO PARTNER WITH LOCAL NON-PROFITS, UNIVERSITIES AND EMPLOYERS IN ORDER TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE A FULL ARRAY OF SERVICES AND RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS OUR CURRENT AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE FOR PARTIAL DAY ONSITE SERVICE IS 37 AND OUR TOTAL NUMBER OF MEMBERS SERVED PER MONTH IS 65.
