SUPPORTING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN AND ABOUT MONGOLIA; SUPPORTING ACADEMIC RESEARCH; OPERATING AN ACADEMIC RESOURCE CENTER IN ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA; AND PUBLIC OUTREACH AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS LECTURES AND LANGUAGE LEARNING.

FELLOWSHIPS/CONFERENCES/LECTURES - THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED A NUMBER OF FELLOWSHIPS FOR FIELD RESEARCH PROJECTS IN 2021. HOWEVER THESE PROGRAMS WERE PUT ON HOLD DUE TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC. FELLOWSHIPS WILL BE HONORED WHEN TRAVEL IS ALLOWED TO MONGOLIA. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED A SERIES OF LECTURES, WORKSHOPS AND COURSES HELD ONLINE DURING THE YEAR.


RESOURCE CENTER AND LIBRARY IN MONGOLIA - THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A FULLY STAFFED RESOURCE CENTER AND RESEARCH LIBRARY IN ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA. THIS CENTER SUPPORTED A RANGE OF PATRONS FROM THE USA, MONGOLIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES WHO UTILIZE THE RESEARCH LIBRARY COLLECTION AND DIGITAL RESOURCES PROVIDED AT THE RESOURCE CENTER. THE ACMS LIBRARIAN PROVIDES RESEARCH SUPPORT TO SCHOLARS THROUGH BOTH IN PERSON AND ONLINE CONSULTATION.


ACMS RUNS AN INTENSIVE MONGOLIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM AND CUSTOMIZED ACADEMIC STUDY TOURS AND CULTURAL TRAININGS.
