TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR QUALITY STUDENT-ATHLETES AND TO ASSIST IN THE PROMOTION OF A QUALITY ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MARSHALL UNIVERSITY IN COMPLIANCE WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY THE NCAA, THE CURRENT CONFERENCE, AND MARSHALL UNIVERSITY.

THIS AMOUNT ASSISTS IN PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIP AID AND PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR THE MARSHALL UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS.


THIS AMOUNT IS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AND COST-OF-ATTENDANCE SUPPORT FOR STUDENT-ATHLETES AT MARSHALL UNIVERSITY. MARSHALL UNIVERSITY HAS APPROXIMATELY 473 STUDENT-ATHLETES, WHO PARTICIPATE IN SIXTEEN VARSITY SPORTS (SIX MEN AND TEN WOMEN). OF THESE STUDENT-ATHLETES, 235 WERE RECOGNIZED BY CONFERENCE USA AS HAVING A GPA OF 3.0 OR HIGHER IN THE MOST RECENT SEMESTER.
