THROUGH A BROAD RANGE OF ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES HILLEL EMPOWERED JEWISH STUDENTS AT UVA TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THEIR JEWISH IDENTITY AND CREATE A WELCOMING AND PLURALISTIC COMMUNITY ON GROUNDS. HILLEL ENGAGED OVER 700 STUDENTS AT LEAST ONCE, 300 STUDENTS IN HIGH IMPACT ACTIVITIES, AND WORKED WITH OVER 70 STUDENT LEADERS. HILLEL OFFERED SHABBAT SERVICES AND MEALS, HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS, JEWISH LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, TRIPS TO ISRAEL AND GERMANY, VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.
