AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2020 THERE ARE MORE THAN 2400 MEMBERS SERVED BY A MEMBERS ONLY WEBSITE. THE VIRTUAL COMMUNITY IS CONNECTED BY 7 LISTSERVS AND A LARGE LIBRARY OF CURRICULUM RESOURCES. THE WEBSITE AVERAGES 300-500 HITS PER DAY. AMTA HELPED TO PROVIDE-70 MODELING WORKSHOPS NATIONWIDE SERVING 1200 PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHERS AMTA TRAINED 20 NEW TEACHER-LEADERS TO LEAD FUTURE PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL MODELING WORKSHOPS. PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR LOCAL STEM TEACHER ALLIANCES IN HOUSTON, MASS BAY AND IN PHOENIX, THESE ARE LOCAL GROUPS OF TEACHERS WHO HAVE ORGANIZED IN THEIR CITY TO PROVIDE WORKSHOPS TO THEIR COLLEAGUES.
