PROGRAMS INCLUDE THERAPEUTIC RIDING, THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP, SPEECH THERAPY, MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING, COMMUNITY HEALTH & WELLNESS, SUMMER CAMPS, AND PROFESSIONAL EAAT EDUCATION THROUGH WORKSHOPS AND CERTIFICATIONS. ON AVERAGE, 800 PARTICIPANTS ARE SERVED EACH YEAR; THE SERVICE AREA IS THE VIRGINIA PENINSULA FROM RICHMOND TO NORFOLK, AS WELL AS THE MIDDLE PENINSULA AND THE NORTHERN NECK REGIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HOSTS AND CONDUCTS EDUCATION WORKSHOPS/CERTIFICATIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS FROM ACROSS THE NATION SEEKING KNOWLEDGE AND CREDENTIALS IN EQUINE ASSISTED ACTIVITIES AND THERAPIES (EAAT).
