PRIVATE FLEET MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE:THE ANNUAL PRIVATE FLEET MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE IS A FIVE-DAY INTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OFFERING COURSES ON FLEET FINANCE, OPERATIONS, LEGAL, REGULATORY AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, MAINTENANCE AND EQUIPMENT. APPROXIMATELY 100 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM ANNUALLY.
CERTIFICATION PROGRAM PROMOTION:THE CERTIFIED TRANSPORTATION PROFESSIONALS (CTP) PROGRAM RECOGNIZES PRIVATE FLEET PROFESSIONALS. SOME 70 NEW INDIVIDUALS EARN THEIR CTP CERTIFICATION EACH YEAR. SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE PROGRAM IN 1993, OVER 1,500 INDIVIDUALS HAVE EARNED CTP CERTIFICATION; 758 INDIVIDUALS HOLD ACTIVE CERTIFICATION.
