THE LIONS CLUB SUPPORTS MANY CHARITABLE COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. THE LIST OF ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: CULPEPER '92 LIONS, CULPEPER RECREATION FOUNDATION, CULPEPER FIRE AND RESCUE VOLUNTEERS, TEAM JORDAN, HOSPICE OF THE PIEDMONT, S.A.F.E. HOUSE.


DONATIONS TO YOUTH AND YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS. THE MID-DAY LIONS SUPPORT OUR AREA YOUTH IN SEVERAL WAYS. AT CHRISTMAS WE TAKE CHILDREN FROM FAMILIES IN NEED CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. THIS YEAR WE PROVIDED 75 CHILDREN WITH CHRISTMAS GIFTS. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO COLLEGE BOUND STUDENTS. WE ALSO SUPPORT THE SOAP BOX DERBY AND LEO CLUBS.


SIGHT AND HEARING. THE MID-DAY LIONS CLUB PROVIDES SIGHT AND HEARING SCREENING FOR ALL CHILDREN IN THE CULPEPER SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID THE NUMBER OF SCREENINGS WERE DOWN. IN ADDITION THE CLUB PROVIDES EYE GLASSES AND HEARING AIDS TO ANY PERSON IN THE COMMUNITY WHO CAN NOT AFFORD THEM
