THE CENTER PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE, HIGH-QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM DESIGNED TO GIVE ALL YOUNG CHILDREN, REGARDLESS OF THEIR FAMILY'S ECONOMIC RESOURCES, A STRONG FOUNDATION ON WHICH TO BUILD THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.

THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES A HIGH-QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM WITH PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED TEACHERS TO PREPARE UP TO 80 CHILDREN EACH YEAR TO BE "READY TO SUCCEED" WHEN THEY ENTER KINDERGARTEN. THE CENTER PROVIDES ALL TEACHERS WITH THE NECESSARY SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO WORK WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND ABILITIES.


FIVE OF OUR CHILDREN HAVE DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS. ALL OF THEM QUALIFY FOR ON-SITE AND CLASS BASED SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES THROUGH CHILD FIND. ONE CHILD RECEIVED PRIVATE SPEECH SERVICES OUTSIDE OF THE CENTER. ONE CLASSROOM RECEIVED OBSERVATIONS AND CONSULTATIONS FROM A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL. 13 CHILDREN RECEIVED ON-SITE VISION AND HEARING SCREENINGS. IN SEPTEMBER, 22 CHILDREN LEFT FOR KINDERGARTEN. 18 CHILDREN GRADUATED WITH KINDERGARTEN READINESS EXPECTATIONS. FOUR CHILDREN WITH BELOW EXPECTED LEVELS ARE RECEIVING SERVICES FOR AREAS OF NEED, OR FAMILIES WERE ADVISED TO APPLY FOR SERVICES AT CHILD FIND.


THE FOOD PROGRAM PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 54 CHILDREN WITH THE NECESSARY FOOD TO MEET THEIR DAILY NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS. PROVIDED WERE 2,885 BREAKFASTS, 10,594 LUNCHES, AND 21,188 MORNING AND AFTERNOON SNACKS.
