VISION, HEARING AND PRESSURE SCREENING (GLAUCOMA) PROGRAM: PROVIDE FREE SCREENINGS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN AGE 6 AND ABOVE. EVENT COULD CONSIST OF, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: NBC4 HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO (ONCE A YEAR EVENT), STATE OR LOCAL COUNTY FAIRS AND INDIVIDUAL CLUB VISION INITIATIVES.


PRE-SCHOOL VISION SCREENING PROGRAM: PROVIDES FREE SCREENINGS FOR CHILDREN AGES 1 TO 6. NBC4 HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO (ONCE A YEAR EVENT), STATE OR LOCAL COUNTY FAIRS AND INDIVIDUAL CLUB VISION INITIATIVES.


RECYCLING PROGRAM: COLLECTION OF USED EYEGLASSES, HEARING AIDS AND LOW VISION AIDS. EYEGLASSES ARE STERILIZED, CATEGORIZED AND DISTRIBUTED AT NO COST TO THE POOR AND NEEDY IN LOW-INCOME AREAS AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. HEARING AIDS AND LOW VISION AIDS ARE DISTRIBUTED LOCALLY WITHIN OUR SERVICE AREA, WHICH INCLUDES MARYLAND, DELAWARE AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
