PUBLIC EDUCATION/OUTREACH:PROGRAMS/ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO EDUCATE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC ON THE ROLE OF THE FOREIGN SERVICE, INCLUDES SPEAKERS BUREAU, INSIDE U.S. EMBASSY, MINORITY INTERN PROGRAM.


ESSAY CONTEST:THE FOREIGN SERVICE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ESSAY CONTEST BEGAN AS A PROGRAM OF THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AND HAS BEEN CONTINUED BY THE FUND DUE TO ITS SUCCESS. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO U.S. STUDENTS IN GRADES NINE THROUGH TWELVE AND INCLUDES CASH PRIZES.
