SINCE 1982, ROA - THROUGH THE HENRY J REILLY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - HAS SOUGHT TO SUPPORT THE FAMILIES OF OUR NATION'S WARRIOR CITIZENS THROUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR HIGHER EDUCATION IN DAUNTING AND RISING TUITION COSTS. THE HJR PROGRAM OFFERS A DIRECT LINE OF SUPPORT FOR RESERVISTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. QUALIFYING CRITERIA INCLUDES ACADEMIC STANDARDS, MILITARY INVOLVEMENT, AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE. EACH CANDIDATE IS CAREFULLY REVIEWED AGAINST A RIGOROUS STANDARD OF BOTH ACADEMIC AND PERSONAL EXCELLENCE ENSURING THAT RECIPIENTS OF HJR AWARDS CONSISTENTLY REPRESENT SOME OF THE NATION'S BEST AND BRIGHTEST YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN.
