DURING THE TAX YEAR ENDED APRIL 30 2024 ONE PER JACOBSSON EVENT WAS ORGANIZED. IN THE CONTEXT OF THE IMF ANNUAL MEETING IN WASHINGTON D.C. A SEMINAR TITLED BUILDING ECONOMIC RESILIENCE IN UNCERTAIN TIMES: CHALLENGES FOR EMERGING MARKETS AND THE REGION WAS DELIVERED BY BRINGING TOGETHER POLICY MAKERS AND EXPERTS FROM AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST TO DISCUSS KEY ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACING THE REGION ON OCTOBER 14 2023.


IN ADDITION TO HOSTING ITS OWN LECTURES DURING THE TAX YEAR ENDED APRIL 30 2024 THE PER JACOBSSON FOUNDATION GAVE A GRANT OF $25,000 TO CDE WILLIAMS COLLEGE FOR THE 2ND YEAR OF THE SPEAKERS SERIES'. THIS INITIATIVE WILL BE KICKED OF DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023 2024 WHEREBY UP TO THREE ALUMNI WILL BE INVITED TO WILLIAMS COLLEGE TO DELIVER A PUBLIC LECTURE ON A TOPIC RELATED TO THE WORLD ECONOMY.
