IN 2020, OIC/DC PLACED 60 PERSONS IN EMPLOYMENT WITH AN AVERAGE SALARY OF $14 PER HOUR. AT THE END OF 12 MONTHS, THESE PERSONS MADE $1,747,200 AND PAID $209,640 (12%) IN CITY AND FEDERAL TAXES. ALSO, AN ADDITIONAL $960,000 SAVINGS IN WELFARE PAYMENTS, FOOD STAMPS AND MEDICAID WAS REALIZED. 80% OF OIC/DC PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE SOME TYPE OF ASSISTANCE.
