THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES LEARNING, LEADERSHIP, AND COMMUNITY IN SUPPORT OF ELEVATING AND ADVANCING STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS IN THE SOCIAL SECTOR. OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT FOUNDATIONS AND NONPROFITS TO IMPROVE LIVES THROUGH THE POWER OF SMART COMMUNICATIONS.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE:DUE TO THE ONGOING PANDEMIC, THE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK AGAIN HELD A VIRTUAL (RATHER THAN IN-PERSON) CONFERENCE, BUILDING ON 2020'S COMNETWORKV AND CALLING THE ONLINE GATHERING COMNETWORKV21. COMNETWORKV21 AGAIN FEATURED A FULL LINEUP OF KEYNOTE SPEAKERS, BREAKOUT SESSIONS, AND ONLINE NETWORKING THAT WAS ALL ACCESSIBLE THROUGH A CUSTOM-BUILT ONLINE PORTAL. THE ONLINE GATHERING WAS NOT FREE AS IT WAS IN 2020, BUT STILL DREW 607 PARTICIPANTS.


ONLINE WORKSHOPS:THE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK HOSTS ONLINE LEARNING SESSIONS ABOUT 15 TIMES PER YEAR ON ISSUES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO SOCIAL SECTOR COMMUNICATORS. THESE WEBINARS ARE FREE TO ALL AND OFTEN ATTRACT AN AUDIENCE OF AS MANY AS 400 PEOPLE. TOPICS RANGE FROM PRACTICAL SKILL BUILDING TO FORWARD-THINKING THOUGHT LEADERSHIP TOPICS


COMMUNICATIONS:THE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK FEATURES NUMEROUS PLATFORMS AND CHANNELS THROUGH WHICH IT COMMUNICATES WITH AND LISTENS TO AND WITH ITS MEMBERSHIP. THOSE INCLUDE A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER FEATURING INSIGHTS AND RESOURCES; THE NETWORKS 1100-PERSON LISTSERV; AN ONLINE MEMBERS COMMUNITY WHERE MEMBERS CAN FIND EACH OTHER AND ENGAGE; WEBINARS; STORYTELLING FOR GOOD; COM-MATTERS.ORG; COMNETWORKDEI.ORG; CHANGE AGENT JOURNAL; SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS; AND COMNETWORK.ORG, WHICH FEATURES TOOLS, RESOURCES, EVENTS, ARCHIVES, AND THE LATEST INFORMATION ABOUT THE NETWORKS EVENTS AND OFFERINGS.
