WE ADVOCATE FOR THE CZECHS AS A BULWARK OF FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY IN CENTRAL EUROPE, A REGION VITAL TO U.S. INTERESTS. WE FOSTER TIES IN THE AREAS OF DIPLOMACY, GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS, BUSINESS, SECURITY, & EDUCATION. AFOCR WAS FOUNDED TO ADVOCATE FOR CZECH ADMISSION INTO THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION. BI-LATERAL RELATIONS & OUTREACH: AFOCR WORKS CLOSELY WITH OFFICIALS ON BOTH SIDES ON VARIOUS INITIATIVES TO PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. WE SPONSOR AND COORDINATE FLAGSHIP EVENTS, ORGANIZE AND SUPPORT PARLIAMENTARY EXCHANGES BETWEEN US AND CZECH LEGISLATORS AND PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SPECIFIC PROJECTS.
AFOCR MASARYK PROJECT: AFOCR SUPERVISES AND PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE REGULAR UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TOM GARRIGUE MASARYK MEMORIAL STATUE AND SURROUNDING NATIONAL PARK LAND IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
