INSTEAD, MEETINGS WERE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WITH THE UZBEK GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRADE AND INVESTMENTS ISSUES WHO ARE EITHER STATIONED OR ARE VISITING THE U.S. THE MEETINGS WERE TO HELP RAISE THEIR AWARENESS OF THE U.S. COMPANIES POTENTIAL AND BUSINESS PROJECTS THAT CAN BE IMPLEMENTED WITH THE UZBEK GOVERNMENTS ASSISTANCE.
