IN 2023, HIPS PROVIDED HOUSING NAVIGATIONS SUPPORT TO OVER 288 UNHOUSED LGBTQ+ INDIVIDUALS


HIPS CLINICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT WORKS TO BRING QUALITY MEDICAL CARE AND SUPPORT TO THOSE FOR WHOM IT IS OFTEN OUT OF REACH. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES TESTING AND TREATMENT FOR HIV, HCV, STI'S AND OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES. IN 2023 HIPS PROVIDED 2,000 CLINICAL APPOINTMENTS FOR MPOX AND COVID VACCINATIONS, HIV AND HEP C TESTING OR TREATMENT, OR MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER.


HIPS MOBILE SERVICES DEPARTMENT BRINGS HIPS PROGRAMS TO THE STREETS THROUGH EXTENSIVE OUTREACH 24 HOURS A DAY, 6 DAYS A WEEK THROUGH OUR MOBILE OUTREACH VAN. IN 2023 THE PROGRAM CONDUCTED OVER 750 HOURS OF OVERNIGHT (11PM - 5AM) OUTREACH, EXCHANGED 434,000 SYRINGES, AND REACHED 15,350 PEOPLE ON THE STREETS.
