THE COUNCIL WORKS TO INCREASE THE AWARENESS OF ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS AND INCREASE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY, NATURAL GAS AND ENERGY EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES.

THE BUSINESS COUNCIL FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY STRIVES TO BE THE WORLD'S PREMIER ORGANIZATION PROMOTING CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLGIES - ENERGY EFFICIENCY, RENEWABLE ENERGY AND NATURAL GAS. TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, SUCH AS A CLEANER ENVIRONMENT, A PROSPEROUS ECONOMY AND GREATER SECURITY, THE COUNCIL: - LEADS INITIATIVES IN POLICY ADVOCACY AND ANALYSIS AND CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGY PROMOTION; - PROVIDES VISION THROUGH ITS BROAD-BASED CLEAN ENERGY INDUSTRY COALITION AND GLOBAL STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH ITS SISTER ORGANIZATIONS IN EUROPE, THE UNITED KINGDOM AND AUSTRALIA; - INITIATES AND PARTICIPATES IN STRATEGIC ALLIANCES AND COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT, ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO FORM AN EFFECTIVE GLOBAL NETWORK TO EXPAND CLEAN ENERGY MARKETS; - EXECUTES ITS MISSION THROUGH A TEAM OF RECOGNIZED CLEAN ENERGY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, MEMBER COMPANIES, AND ORGANIZATIONS.
