UNITED HORSE COALITION: REDUCES THE NUMBER OF AT-RISK HORSES AND IMPROVES THEIR WELFARE THROUGH EDUCATION AND THE EFFORTS OF ORGANIZATIONS COMMITTED TO THE HEALTH, SAFETY, AND THE RESPONSIBLE CARE AND DISPOSITION OF THOSE HORSES. THE EQUINE WELFARE DATA COLLECTIVE IS A PROGRAM OF UHC, FUNDED BY GRANTS, WHICH CONDUCTS RESEARCH ON EQUINE AFTERCARE FACILITIES (RESCUES & SANCTUARIES ).


IMPACT STUDY: THE AHCF PERIODICALLY CONDUCTS AN NATIONAL ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY TO CAPTURE THE IMPACT OF EQUINE RELATED GOODS AND SERVICES WITH SPECIFIC DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION TO VARIOUS HORSE INDUSTRY SEGMENTS. THIS STUDY WAS SCHEDULE TO TAKE PLACE IN 2021/2022 BUT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. FUNDRAISING WILL OCCUR IN 2022 AND THE STUDY WILL BE CONDUCTED IN 2023.
