CONTRIBUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE AFFILIATED CORPORATIONS THAT MAKE UP THE KENNEDY KRIEGER INSTITUTE.
FOUNDATION STAFF IS OFTEN INVOLVED IN PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITIES AS PART OF THEIR WORK WEEK, ACTIVITIES THAT DO NOT FALL UNDER THEIR MANAGEMENT OR FUND RAISING FUNCTIONS. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE DIRECT INVOLVEMENT IN: JOINING VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH ACTIVITIES THAT DIRECTLY BENEFIT INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES; RESEARCH BRIEFINGS FOR INTERESTED PARENTS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS; AND SPECIAL EVENTS OR GATHERINGS TO SPECIFICALLY BENEFIT THE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES SERVED.
