ALPHA'S GLORY IS A LIFE AFFIRMING MINISTRY TO HELP THOSE EXPERIENCING AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND RELATED CRISIS.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
PROVIDED COUNSELING AND TRAINING TO WOMEN IN HARFORD COUNTY, MD, WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY, BY MEETING THEIR SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PHYSICAL NEEDS, AS WELL AS THEIR FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE THEM WITH BIBLICAL COUNSEL, LOVE, FRIENDSHIP, AND COMPASSION. DURING 2022, WE COUNSELED/TRAINED 185 WOMEN AND THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ACTUAL VISITS WAS 835 TO THE CENTER. TOTAL PARENTING CLASSES ON A ONE-ON-ONE BASIS WAS 392.
PROVIDED FREE PREGNANCY TESTING AND MATERIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION TO THE TESTING, WE PROVIDE BABY CLOTHES, FOOD, MATERNITY CLOTHES, DIAPERS, ETC. MANY OF THE ITEMS USED IN THIS PROGRAM ARE DONATED. IN 2022, 52 CLIENTS AVAILED THEMSELVES OF THESE SERVICES.
