ANACOSTIA RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION:EARTH CONSERVATION CORPS MEMBERS VOLUNTEER FOR A YEAR OF ACTIVE CONSERVATION LEADING THE COMMUNITY IN ANACOSTIA RIVER RESTORATION, RAPTOR EDUCATION AND HANDS-ON SCIENCE TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS TO THE URGENT CHALLENGES OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL INJUSTICE. OUR IMPACT MODEL BUILDS TOMORROWS LEADERS THOUGH VITAL CONSERVATION WORK TODAY. THROUGH RESTORATION, EDUCATION AND HANDS-ON SCIENCE, OUR YOUTH ARE ALSO GAINING VALUABLE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SKILLS FOCUSED ON GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE THAT PROVIDES A PATHWAY FOR SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT.
