CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS: NACCED SPONSORS CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS TO EDUCATE MEMBERS ON BEST PRACTICES AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND/OR COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. NACCED ALSO OFFERS A SCHOLARSHIP AWARD TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500 TO AN UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENT CURRENTLY ATTENDING AN AMERICAN COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY WITH A CHOSEN FIELD OF STUDY THAT INCLUDES COURSE WORK IN THE AREAS OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND/OR COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND WHO EXHIBITS FINANCIAL NEED.
EDUCATION: NACCED PROVIDES EDUCATION FOR MEMBERS IN THE FORM OF WEBINARS AND IN-PERSON EDUCATION AND TRAININGS. NACCED ALSO SERVES AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR THE PUBLIC ON HOUSING AND DEVELOPMENT ISSUES.
