THE ANNAPOLIS ROWING CLUB (ARC) LEARN-TO-ROW (LTR)AND LEARN TO SCULL (LTS) PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO GIVE PROSPECTIVE ROWERS A 'TASTE' OF THE SPORT, AND TO ALLOW INDIVIDUALS TO DETERMINE IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO ENTER INTO THE ARC NOVICE ROWING PROGRAM. ARC WAS ABLE TO CONDUCT 6 LTR AND 2 LTS PROGRAMS. THE CLUB MEMBERS SERVE AS COACHES, COXSWAINS AND MENTORS FOR THE PROGRAMS.ARC ALSO HAS AN ACTIVE ADAPTIVE ROWING PROGRAM THAT TEACHES PEOPLE WITH VARIOUS CHALLENGES TO ROW AN ASSORTMENT OF ROWING SHELLS. THE CLUB MEMBERS SERVE AS COACHES AND SUPPORT ROWERS WHILE MAKING ACCOMMODATIONS TO THE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO ALLOW THE PARTICIPANTS TO ROW SAFELY.ARC WAS ABLE TO EXPAND MEMBERSHIP AND ENABLE 134 MEMBERS TO ROW IN SINGLES, FOURS AND EIGHT SHELLS WHICH WAS AN INCREASE FROM 2021 (A YEAR UNDER THE CDC AND STATE COVID-19 GUIDELINES).
