THE VIOLENCE POLICY CENTER (VPC) CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES ON FIREARMS VIOLENCE AND RELATED ISSUES. VPC'S ONGOING EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS ARE TARGETED AT THE GENERAL PUBLIC, POLICY MAKERS, AND THE NEWS MEDIA OFFERING INFORMATION AND POLICY OPTIONS THAT WILL BE EFFECTIVE IN REDUCING GUN RELATED DEATH AND INJURY.
