NATIONAL CONFERENCES. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS FORUMS FOR PARTICIPATNS TO SHARE SKILLS AND STRATEGIES RELATED TO CIVIC EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION. IT ALSO PROVIDES FORUMS TO DISCUSS ISSUES OF CONCERN WITH PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND AGENCY REPRESENTATIVS. THE CONFERENCES AND SUMMITS TARGET ARAB AMERICAN CONSTITUENT LEADERS AND PUBLIC SERVANTS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY.


ORGANIZING AND VOTER EDUCATION. THIS PROGRAM MOBILIIZES ARAB AMERICANS TO REGISTER AND VOTE, BECOME FULL AND ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN THE US CIVIC LIFE BY REGISTERING, VOTING, AND RUNNING FOR OFFICE. IT ALSO PROVIDES TIMELY INFORMATION ON ISSUES AND CONCERNS OF THE ARAB AMERICAN COMMUNITY AND THEIR IMPACT ON BOTH ELECTIONS AND PUBLIC POLICY GET-OUT-THE VOTE ACTIVITIES ARE UNDERTAKEN IN PERSON AND VIA ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION AND ARE NATIONAL IN SCOPE.


PUBLIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION. THIS PROGRAM CONDUCTS RESEARCH, STUDIES AND POLLING. IT ALSO PRODUCES PUBLICATIONS AND HOSTS LOCAL AND NATIONAL EVENTS ON PUBLIC POLICY, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND ISSUES IMPACTING THE ARAB AMERICAN COMMUNITY. INFORMATION IS DISSEMINATED NOT ONLY TO THE NATIONAL ARAB AMERICAN COMMUNITY, BUT ALSO TO LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL POLITICAL LEADERS, THE MEDIA, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
