THE BRETTON WOODS COMMITTEE PROVIDES A COMMUNITY AND FORUM TO PROMOTE PRESSING GLOBAL AND MULTILATERAL ISSUES AND TO ADVOCATE FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE UNITED STATES' COMMITMENTS TO THE BRETTON WOODS INSTITUTIONS. THE COMMITTEE ALSO PUBLISHES POLICY PAPERS AND RECOMMENDATIONS, SUPPORTED BY INFLUENTIAL LEADERS IN GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS SECTOR AND CIVIL SOCIETY. THE COMMITTEE, BY EDUCATING AND PROVIDING RECOMMENDATIONS TO KEY ACTORS IN THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD, HAS HELPED TO ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC AND WORLD LEADERS TO TAKE ACTION ON IMPORTANT MULTILATERAL ISSUES.
