THE CHAPTER HAS VARIOUS FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL, LUNCHEONS, SYMPOSIUMS, GALAS AND SOCIAL EVENTS THAT FEATURE KEY SPEAKERS AND RECENT DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUES AFFECTING THE COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY AND NATIONAL DEFENSE.
THE CHAPTER ALSO SPONSORS AN EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION THAT AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO WORTHY INDIVIDUALS IN PROMOTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE TO ENCOURAGE DEVELOPMENT WITHIN COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS DISCIPLINES.
