YWAM-VA'S SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: THE DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL TRAINS AND SENDS NUMEROUS YOUNG MISSIONARIES INTO SERVICE AND EVANGELISM IN THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY. THEY EACH PARTICIPATE IN 12 WEEKS OF LIVE-LEARN DISCIPLESHIP AND EIGHT TO 12 WEEKS OF OUTREACH. THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE SCHOOL TRAINS NUMEROUS STUDENTS IN THE BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, AND ADVANCED LEVELS OF ENGLISH. THE STUDENTS ARE INVOLVED IN BIBLE TEACHING AND LIVE-LEARN DISCIPLESHIP THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL. THE RICHMOND ROPES CHALLENGE COURSE FACILITATES HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE IN EVENTS ON THE COURSE AND OFF-SITE. THEY LEAD PARTICIPANTS IN LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORK DEVELOPMENT USING BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. THROUGH GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS, YWAM-VA SUPPORTS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH SIMILAR MISSIONS AND VALUES.
