THE PURPOSE OF EMORY GROVE IS TO PROMOTE CHRISTIANITY THROUGH SUMMER RELIGIOUS SERVICES AND SEASONAL ACTIVITIES, AND PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE NATURAL AND HISTORIC ENVIRONMENT THROUGH THE ACTIVE AND PROGRESSIVE COMMUNITY SPIRIT OF PARTICIPATION AND PROVIDE A CALM AND LOVELY REFUGE FOR SOUL AND BODY.

ARBORIST MAINTENANCE OF OUR TREES. OUR GROUNDS CONTAIN HUNDREDS OF 50-150 YEAR OLD OAK, POPLAR, HICKORY AND OTHER LARGE TREES. OUR TREES IN THE HOTEL TABERNACLE AND COTTAGES ARE INSPECTED, TRIMMED OR REMOVED ANNUALLY, AS NEEDED TO ASSURE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MEMBERS AND VISITORS.


EMORY GROVE CONDUCTS WEEKLY RELIGIOUS SERVICES SUNDAY MORNINGS AND EVENINGS AND HYMN SINGS WEDNESDAY EVENINGS DURING JULY AND AUGUST. THESE SERVICES ARE OPEN TO AND ATTENDED BY THE PUBLIC. THE RELIGIOUS SERVICES ARE CONDUCTED BY VISITING CHURCH CONGREGATIONS WHO COME FROM UP TO 45 MILES AWAY. THE VISITING CONGREGATIONS OFTEN PICNIC ON THE GROUNDS PRIOR TO THE SERVICE.
