TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE HISTORY OF REHOBOTH BEACH; TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN REHOBOTH BEACH MUSEUMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SOCIETY'S AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF REHOBOTH BEACH; TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS, RELICS AND ARTIFACTS FOR DISPLAY AND RESEARCH; TO FOSTER INTEREST AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE AREA'S HISTORIC PAST AMONG RESIDENTS AND VISITORS; TO ENCOURAGE THE RECOGNITION, PRESERVATION AND/OR RESTORATION OF HISTORIC STRUCTURES AND SITES IN REHOBOTH BEACH; AND TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORY, CULTURE, ARCHITECTURE AND SPECIAL CHARACTER OF REHOBOTH BEACH.
