TO MAXIMIZE PRIVATE GIFT SUPPORT FOR PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY, EXERCISEPROPER MANAGEMENT OF FOUNDATION ASSETS, LAY THE GROUNDWORK FOR FUTUREFUNDRAISING SUCCESS IN SUPPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY'S TEACHING, RESEARCH AND SERVICE/CIVIC ENGAGEMENT FUCTIONS, AND TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSITY'S BROAD RANGE OF CONSTITUENCIES.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS ATTENDING PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY. ELIGIBILITY WAS DETERMINED BY UNIVERSITY FINANCIAL AID DEPARTMENT.
THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES FOR PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY INCLUDING CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION, FACULTY/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, OPERATING EXPENSES, AND CAPITAL PROJECTS.
