UNIVERSITY STUDENTS FROM AMERICA SERVE IN PROJECTS ACROSS THE WORLD. THEY PROVIDE VALUABLE SERVICES TO YOUNG ADULTS IN THESE LOCATIONS, SUCH AS HEALTH EDUCATION, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ENGLISH.
ORIENTATION PROGRAMS TRAIN STUDENTS IN HOW TO BE SAFE AND SECURE OVERSEAS. THEY ALSO TRAIN THE STUDENTS IN HOW TO INTERACT CROSS-CULTURALLY IN WAYS THAT COMMUNICATE VALUE TO THE HOST CULTURE AND BUILDS BRIDGES OF UNDERSTANDING. EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES IN AN OVERSEAS PROJECT ATTENDS THIS ORIENTATION.
