THE MISSION OF THE FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT CASA ASSOCIATION IS TO PROTECT CHILDREN TODAY FOR STRONGER FAMILIES TOMORROW BY PROVIDING TRAINED, COURT APPOINTED VOLUNTEERS TO ADVOCATE FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZATION THAT WILL OPERATE IN CONJUCTION WITH THE KANSAS JUDICIAL SYSTEM BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE TO COURT APPOINTED VOLUNTEERS WHO ADVOCATE FOR CHILDREN IN JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS. TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZATION THAT OFFER COMPREHENSIVE, CHILD- CENTERED PROGRAMMING THAT INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, CHILD AND FAMILY ADVOCACY AND COORDINATION OF INVESTIGATIVE AND TREATMENT SERVICES THROUGH PRIMARY PARTNERSHIPS WITH A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS. TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZATTION THAT WILL OPERATE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE KANSAS JUDICIAL SYSTEM TO PROVIDE SUPERVISED VISITATIONS BETWEEN MINOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, AND SAFE CHILD EXCHANGE SITES BETWEEN PARTIES.
