THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES THE DAY-TO-DAY ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS NECESSARY TO OPERATE A TELEPHONE RELAY SERVICE FOR THE PEOPLE OF KANSAS. THIS SERVICE ENABLES A DEAF, HEARING-IMPAIRED OR SPEECH-IMPAIRED PERSON TO COMMUNICATE WITH A HEARING PERSON.
THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS THE ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACCESS PROGRAM FOR THE PEOPLE OF KANSAS. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES VOUCHERS TO KANSANS WITH DISABILITIES SO THEY CAN ACQUIRE SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT.
